The EarthTale campaign is currently progressing very positively. Thanks to all the support, we can further complete the development of the first four books, and workshops are scheduled to take place soon at local schools and libraries. As part of the campaign, a contribution is made to an involved nature organization for local educational work. In this context, €1,000 has now been donated to Painted Dog Conservation. This organization is dedicated to the protection of the African wild dog in and around Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe.
In addition, the project received extra support through match funding from a fund that wishes to remain anonymous. This amounted to no less than 10 percent of the target goal!
We are immensely grateful for all the support, trust, and enthusiasm. It provides great motivation to continue this work.
Painted Dog wrote the text for the new title, referring to the leopard tortoise. This tortoise requires calcium for the growth of its shell, and bone remains from prey constitute an important source for this.
